In January 2018, I was lucky enough to be offered a job at BORN's London office to help design catalogues for their main client, Sotheby's. 

In my role, Catalogue and Layout Designer, I use InDesign to build their catalogue. With the text and images the clients supply, I have to figure out how to make the most of the space (to make sure the text fits and the image is the size that they want).

I also sit one to one with clients. This is their opportunity to ask me for advice on the layout and to also make any last minute amends. 

Not only have my InDesign and design skills improved, but my knowledge of art has also grown.
